It is not the critic who counts, but those who are marred with dust, blood, and sweat.

I love trying every kind of artwork, from directing, writing, acting, to costume design and stand-up comedy. I am from Joshua Tree, California, where I was starved of art classes. By some miracle, now I go to USC, where I can try it all, so I did.

Senior thesis

Fair Ophelia

I wrote, directed, and produced my award-winning original play at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Within just one month, I guided a group of college freshmen in developing unique, original characters for the production. As a result of this experience, I now have a dedicated ensemble of actors I can rely on—artists who are eager to collaborate with me on my upcoming short film.

USC Writers conference, honorable mention.

The USC Writer’s Conference is a university-wide competition recognizing excellence in books, screenplays, plays, and poetry. My original play Ophelia, received this award, with the judges describing the work as “culturally significant.”

Starting clubs with friends

This is a women in comedy troupe I started with my friends. We have fun doing improv. and sketch comedy in open mics across campus.

About me

I am from Joshua Tree, California.

My family is spread across the world, my dad lives in Japan, my mother in LA, and my brother in Wisconsin.

Due to the divide, our ideals have shifted apart, and conversations spark characters in my work.
